Storm Force Weather Update
Meteorologist Nick Carter Sunday 6:00 p.m.
A quiet evening with temperatures holding in the low to mid 40s. There's another weather system creeping into northwest Colorado, and this system should bring several inches of fresh snowfall for west-facing slopes in the northern high country overnight and early Monday morning.
For the metro area, we just get an increase in clouds overnight, but there could be a few snow showers over the foothills and northeast plains throughout the day Monday. High temperatures behind this fresh and chilly weather system will only be in the lower 40s and winds will be gusty in the foothills, but skies will clear up by Monday night.
The week ahead looks mild and dry with temperatures hitting the mid 50s on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day. Sunshine will rule the skies all across the state then and throughout the rest of the weekend, so travel will be a cinch.
